Valentine’s Bake Sale to Benefit the Linn Co. Imagination Library Program

Valentine’s Bake Sale to Benefit the Linn Co. Imagination Library Program

Linn County was fortunate to get a grant from the Kansas Masonic Foundation to get the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program started for kids birth to 5.  We have served nearly 300 children over the past two years with funds from the grant and with help from Parents as Teachers.  The grant has been expended and we need to help with funding, so this is the first of two opportunities we have to help support this effort, that puts books in the hands of children every month from birth to age 5.

We need volunteers to make desserts for us to sell and we need folks to visit the library on Feb. 14th and attend our “Sweet Sale”.  Treats need to be brought to the library by 5 PM on Monday, Feb. 13th.  Thank you!
