Pi Day (3.14) comes to Library this Wednesday

Who doesn’t love pi (pie)? Thanks to library staff, patrons, and friends, we will be serving pie on Wednesday, March 14th, until we run out. We do ask that you limit to one piece. Come enjoy some pie!

My last Pie for Pi Day tomorrow at the library. It’s a Black Forest Cheese pie (first picture shows cherries on half and the luscious chocolate cheese layer on top of a plain layer in a chocolate graham cracker crust) The other is the finished product. And the two pies I call Mounds pies because to me they taste like Mounds candy bars…who can beat coconut and chocolate in a custard (like pecan pie) pie..If you’re in La Cygne tomorrow stop by the library and have a piece of pie. We’re excited to see what pies we get for tomorrow’s event. If you’re bringing in a pie, please bring in close to 9 AM. I know we have a peach pie in there already.
