December Newsletter
Holiday Hours
The library will close at 5 PM on November 24th. We will be closed Thursday, the 25th, Friday, the 26th and Saturday the 27th for a Thanksgiving break. We will reopen at 9 AM on Monday, Nov. 29th. Enjoy your time with family and friends. Be sure to get all your books and DVDs for the weekend by 5 PM on Wednesday.
Join the Thanksgiving Fun!
Join us at 10:30 on Wednesday, Nov. 24th in the Great Room at the library. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult. We’ll be enjoying “Thanksgiving and Turkey” books, games, songs, activities and crafts. Then at 11:30 we will have lunch. Please let us know if you plan to attend, by calling 757-2151.

Our Fall Line of Programs
Monday–9:15 AM–Virtual Storytime with Miss Janet on Facebook Live
Monday–11:00 AM–GeriFit in the Great Room (Exercise class for seniors) followed by light lunch for those participating in the exercise class.
Tuesday–9:30 AM–Preschool Storytime with Miss Veda in the Swan Room (ages 3-5)
Wednesday–9:15–Virtual Storytime with Miss Janet on Facebook Live
Thursday–9:30–Toddler Time with Miss Janet OR Parents As Teachers Playgroup with Miss Amy. (We will meet in the children’s playroom to start with).
Thursday–11:00 AM– GeriFit in the Great Room (Exercise class for seniors)
Thursday–11:30 AM–Senior Lunch Pick-up at back door…please enter the alley from the north and park in the alley and your lunch will be brought to you (don’t park–to much congestion)
Thursday–NOON–Senior Lunch and Learn in the Great Room
Thursday–12:30–Programs by various folks
Thursday–1:00 PM–BINGO

BlockFest coming to Library
WINNER! WINNER! WINNER!
Adult Summer Reading 2021 is officially over and we’re excited to announce the winners of our “reading” baskets. This was a great program with over 1153 entries, this means our patrons were reading or listening to a lot of books.
Thanks to First Option Bank Trust Foundation (Baehr Grant) for helping us fund this awesome program for our adults. Thanks also to Therapeutic Massage, Hooks & Deals, Beauty on Broadway, Stainbrooks, and Frankie’s for helping us get some really neat baskets for you to try to win.

Thursday, Aug. 12th update
Today is the last day for BINGO with the seniors at the library. Lunch at 11:50, BINGO at 12:30ish. We also have bags of school supplies for students. You may pick it up today or tomorrow. If you need school supplies, contact the library or contact Ray of Hope. Thanks to all the folks who donated to both drives and please make sure you come today or tomorrow to get you bag of school supplies.
