Young Historians

Young Historians to Perform MONDAY Jan. 23rd at 6 PM Annual Kansas Day Performance for Public it’s a little

The Young Historians have picked their characters and are working on their scripts to bring you another fun-filled program about famous Kansans. This year we don’t have a theme, so you’ll learn about people including a former Miss America, Airplane builders and stunt folks, some famous criminals, artists and more. Kansas has a rich history of famous and infamous people. Come at 6 PM for a program where you will learn about a dozen or more of these folks.

They will also be performing for La Cygne and Parker Elementary students on Friday, Jan. 27th in the Performing Arts Center at Prairie View and for the DAR in Osawatomie in February, and the Retired Teachers group in April. This group of young actors and actresses does a great job sharing their knowledge about Kansas. Please join us for this event. Young Historian Practice dates are on the calendar on the back page.
